ShipDesk.dev

terms and conditions

last updated October 4, 2026

These are the rules for using this site while the platform is being built. They are short on purpose.

1. The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and George (GeorgevichDev), the solo developer based in Serbia who makes and runs ShipDesk.dev. By using this site or creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. What ShipDesk.dev is

ShipDesk.dev is a launch platform for solo developers: a place to post a product, give it a page and let people find and upvote it.

The platform is new. Features may change, and parts described on the site, such as featured launches, may arrive later or not at all.

3. Your account

  • You can create an account with your X profile, or with an email address and a password.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, and the details you give must be your own.
  • Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • One account per person. Do not create accounts in bulk or by automated means.
  • An account is free.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the dashboard settings. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms.

4. Launching a product

  • You may only launch a product that is yours, or that you have the right to present.
  • What you post must be true, and you must have the right to use the logo, screenshots and video you add.
  • To send a free launch in, you add the ShipDesk.dev badge to your website and upvote other launches. The badge has to stay on your site while your launch is on the board. Paid launches skip both.
  • You pick a launch day. An approved launch goes live at 12:00 am UTC on that day.
  • Every launch is reviewed before it goes live. We can approve it, send it back with a reason, or take it down later, at our discretion.
  • Nothing illegal, harmful, hateful, sexually explicit or deceptive, and nothing that is malware, a scam or spam.
  • By posting, you give ShipDesk.dev permission to show your launch, including its name, logo, screenshots and video, on the site and when promoting the site. You keep all your rights in them.
  • Upvotes must be real. Do not trade, buy or automate them, and do not use extra accounts to vote.

5. What you must not do

  • use the site for anything illegal or harmful
  • add a launch for a website in order to probe, attack or overload it
  • try to break, overload, scrape or get around the limits of this site

We may block access for anyone who does.

6. Prices

Launching a product is free. A free launch is set 10 or more days ahead, and needs our badge on your website and upvotes on other launches.

Two paid options are sold per launch, as a single payment with no subscription. Fast ($19) lets you launch from the next day, skips the badge and the upvotes, and is reviewed within 24 hours. Featured ($49) adds a pinned place at the top of the board for its week and a place in the featured row on the home page for 7 days from the moment it goes live, and is approved when you submit it, without waiting for a review. We still look at featured launches afterwards and can take down one that breaks these terms, and a launch that has been sent back before is always reviewed first. Prices are in US dollars and tax may be added at checkout.

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. Their terms apply to the payment itself.

A fast launch is still reviewed, and any launch can be sent back or taken down if it breaks these terms. The paid option stays with that launch, so it applies again when you fix it and submit again. All payments are final and are not refunded, except where the law gives you a right to a refund.

7. Our content

The ShipDesk.dev name, design, text and code belong to us. You may link to the site and share it, but not copy it or pass it off as your own. Product names and logos shown as examples belong to their owners.

8. No warranty

The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and correct, but we do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors.

9. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, ShipDesk.dev is not liable for losses that come from using this site, including indirect losses such as lost profit or lost data. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms will change as the platform grows. The date at the top will change, and if a change matters to you, you can close your account instead of accepting it.

11. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in.
